Most people are well aware that when they eat too much they over indulge in calories, meaning that they are really packing on the pounds.

What most people are not aware of is that there are some foods that have so few calories, that you can eat more of them and at the same time burn fat.

These foods actually burn up more calories, while they are being digested, than they contain.

Many people call such foods, wonder foods, as they can help you to keep extra weight off and they also assist in counteracting the effects of the foods you eat that have a high amount of calories.

So is there really such a thing as negative calorie foods?

Of course there is.

Keep in mind that every food contains calories, though some have fewer than others.  What makes these foods wonder foods, where calories are concerned, is your digestive system.

Your digestive system is always actively working for you, burning up the calories.

When you choose foods that are very low in calories, they will have a negative calorie effect as your digestive system burns them because it will take more calories than they contain to burn off the low-calorie foods.

To sum up. Your body uses more calories in digesting these wonder foods than the food actually contain because calories from these foods are harder to break down and process, resulting in the body having to work harder.

So you can see why incorporating as many of these negative calorie foods into your diet on a daily basis can be very beneficial for you.

Not only will you limit the amount of calories you take in, you will lose weight with little to no effort.

Dieting doesn’t mean that you have to give up the foods you love.

You can make a great diet plan by eating negative calorie foods with the foods you normally eat.

This way you will counteract the effects of the calories in your meals.

Negative calorie foods are a great thing to have around.  You can replace your high calorie snacks with some of the healthy fruits on the list so this way you can have the best of both worlds.

Be sure to check with your doctor before starting any type of diet so that you can be certain you are getting the right  vitamins and nutrients that your body needs daily.

Really good tips but I think you should have included some examples or made the list of foods a little more easier to find. I thought the “negative calorie foods” link was an Ad link so I was hesitant to click on it at first!

Regardless, your point about making smarter food choices is an excellent one!
