We all love pizza and we all know that pizza is a fast food which can be fattening. Millions of pizza are eaten every day, but in spite of us thinking that pizzas come from Italy, this is not entirely true.
In fact, did you know that cultures such as the Babylonians, Israelites, Egyptians and other ancient cultures first starting eating flat, unleavened bread which was topped with olive oil and seasonings.
This was late developed into pizza by the Italians who, in the late 1800s introduced toppings such as tomato, cheese and basil which indicated the national colors.
However, if you care for your health, you can cook a very tasty and more importantly, a low carb wholegrain meal that will give you an excellent boost to your energy levels and is bursting with nutrients.
